This chamber is located in the "Crystal Palace" of the Reed Flute Cave. The cave is warm in the winter and cool in the summer, with an average annual temperature of 18 degrees, making it perfectly fitting for conferences. The largest open section of the Crystal Palace is 93 meters wide and 18 meters tall, which is the widest place in the entire Reed Flute Cave. The size of this space is perfect for indoor meetings and enjoying music. In this confined space surrounded by irregular stalactite walls, voices can be confined and reflected to create superb sound effects. The Crystal Palace is the true essence of the Reed Flute Cave. The high and wide space, the majestic formations and the splendid color overwhelm its visitors' senses. Former United Nations Secretary-General, Mr. Waldheim, praised the "Crystal Palace" as the United Nations' conference hall, but only more beautiful than any conference hall. The Reed Flute Cave is praised as the first cavern conference chamber of China.
